fortunate與lucky的用法區(qū)別
兩者均可表示“幸運(yùn)的”，但 fortunate 比 lucky 更正式，多用于較重大的事情；而lucky 則較口語化，多用于日常談話中，且含有因僥幸或機(jī)緣而得到好運(yùn)的意味。但若敝開此細(xì)微區(qū)別，兩者在用法及句型搭配上有很多相似之處。具體應(yīng)注意以下幾點(diǎn)：
1.以下幾句均可說，且大致同義：

正：He is fortunate [lucky] in a good wife.
正：He is fortunate [lucky] in having a good wife.

但嚴(yán)格說來，以上結(jié)構(gòu)有時(shí)有細(xì)微區(qū)別：后接不定式通常暗示主語的一種好運(yùn)氣，有時(shí)可能指一種僥幸；而后接 that 從句則通常指一件令人愉快的事情。比較：
He was lucky to pass the driving test.
他僥幸通過了駕駛考試 (暗示：He wasn’t really up to the standard)。
It’s lucky that he passed the driving test.
